Dr. Sugapriya Dhanasekaran is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. Her research interest lies mainly in investigating novel molecules and alternative, safe and efficacious strategies for the treatment of cancer. Specifically, she researched and published in the subject areas like studies on natural compounds for treatment of Cancer, siRNA based drug therapy for cancer, chemotherapy with targeted drug delivery through nano-conjugated vehicles, receptor targeted drug delivery (Folate receptors) aimed at the efficient delivery of anti-cancer drugs and emerging role of FOXA-2 in hepatic differentiation from mesenchymal stem cells, to facilitate the development of hepatocytes for liver engineering and regenerative medicine.
